The people of America are helpless with Corona and are hoping that Asian’s experience would help them to have an idea on the virally spreading disease. Though Asia was affected first and recovered a few days back, things are not as they thought.
In the case of Japan, a source confirmed that the COVID-19 affected cases pushed Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to call state emergency. Though masks are used regularly in these countries they are more confident than America when warnings were made on social distancing and usage of masks.
A month shutdown will allow Tokyo Governor and other state governments to take necessary steps to control COVID-19 spread, especially on social distancing, restricting public gatherings, and converting huge buildings and lands as health centers in order to provide in-facilities for affected people.
The Prime Minister’s declaration was not easy as the country is facing a major downfall in the economy and in specific a lot of tension on the postponed Olympics. But Shinzo is also in a situation to help other nations on how to overcome the loss of people and the economy.
Yet another issue is that Japan can’t allow the shutdown that China has been doing. As of other countries, the local authorities can take people under custody who keep going out to cater to crucial supplies and convert buildings for healthcare purposes.
