Simon Cowell’s Syco Entertainment and Shanghai Media Group have associated together to launch a Chinese talent show “The Magnificent Dancer.”
The agreement was signed at the initial stage of the Corona outbreak and the show will be aired in Dragon TV in the late spring. This will be Fremantle’s debut contract and licensing in China. The official confirmation was stated by Fremantle’s senior Vice President Distribution Asia, Haryaty Rahman.
The primetime show will launch a group of local talents across China. The show will have all genres of dance forms from jazz to ballet to hip hop. There will be quite a lot of rounds from audition to challenge and live performances.
