As the U.S surpasses Italy and China in having the most Corona positive cases, the measures to contain the spread of the infection are being taken in full swing.
New York tops the list with 46,262 positive cases among the 105,019 cases in the U.S. And this has made churches in the city to be closed for the year’s Easter service on April 12. Despite the fact that Trump insisted on churches to remain open for prayers on the Holy Day, religious leaders are positive that it is best to keep the doors closed to avoid the infection from community spreading.
The POTUS has been facing severe backlash over his comments about America getting back to regularity by Easter as the affected numbers in the country keep increasing at a steadily alarming rate.
“We’re going to be opening relatively soon. I would love to have the country opened up and just raring to go by Easter”, he said in a statement at the White House.
