Canadian Broadcasting company wanted to ensure a peaceful Christmas eve and decided to do the needful by ousting Donald Trump’s cameo appearance in Home Alone 2.
The 10 second cameo by the current US President that dates back to 1992, shows Trump giving directions to the Hotel lobby to Kevin McCallister (played by a very young Macaulay Culkin) in the movie.
When the movie aired on CBC, users were quick to notice that the 10 second clip featuring Donald Trump was missing from the movie.
In response, CBC said that the brief cameo was erased ‘years back’ to when Donald Trump was President. As per Chuck Thompson, head of public affairs at the CBC–
“The scene with Donald Trump was one of several that were cut from the movie as none of them were integral to the plot,”.
In fact when there was public outrage, especially by the folks at Fox & Friends, Trump decided to step in, taking a slight jab on Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Twitter–
The movie will never be the same! (just kidding) https://t.co/FogquK1ei7

CBC is still pondering what to do with the clip of Trump cameo, whether they’re going to keep it next Holiday season.
