Mina lioness, a British musician is in Wow that her viral tweet which turned into a signature line in Lizzo’s breakthrough single “Truth Hurts” was expected to earn her a Grammy Nomination but she isn’t getting any!

On November 20, the Grammy nominations were announced and most of the predictions were true. Yes, Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts” is nominated for song of the year but Mina Lioness’s name didn’t appear on the list of writers for the song.

“I just took a DNA test, turns out I’m 100 percent that bitch” were the lines on the Tweet in 2017 which changed her life from zero to hundred. It wasn’t any random thought penned by Lioness rather, these lines were a reply to the singer-actress Demi Lovato’s tweet ‘And I’m 1% African.’

Tweeple found this response bold and sassy in no time the tweet had gone viral.

When this viral line was making rounds on the internet, it silently found a place in Lizzo’s megahit song “Truth hurts” but leaving Lioness uncredited for her lines. The single went to hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart for seven weeks and stands as a major contender for many awards this year. When Songwriters Justin and Jeremiah claimed writing credits on Truth hurts, Lioness’s resentment for not being credited for her lines found a solution.

Yep! Lizzo is all set to add Lioness as co-writer of “Truth Hurts” and her music label was in the process of adding Lioness to the song’s credits, which made people think that Mina lioness too will be earning a Grammy nod if “Truth Hurts” makes into the nomination. And that isn’t happening, leaving Mina’s longstanding battle in vain.

Little did Lioness know that her 12-word tweet would change her life forever! But Lioness is also clear that she shouldn’t be known just for this and think it as a peak of her career. So, Lioness wouldn’t be worrying about her name not being on the nomination list.
