Djokovic’s Mother Comments on His Retirement Speculations!

With rumors stating that the ace Tennis star Novak Djokovic is announcing his retirement. But slamming all this Novack’s mom has cleared the air. She went on to say that: “ Djokovic will continue on the ATP tour for at least another three years.”

The Serbian player has only turned 32 and his way younger than his competitors Rodger Federer and Rafael Nadal. So he is not in a hurry to reach their records and he might continue to showcase his talent till 2022.

Adding to this: She said: “I can’t say. It depends on him and if he is happy and enjoying and motivated, why not? Federer is 38 and still playing.”

Till now the Serbian has brought 16 tittles home which is close to Rodger Federer 20. Moreover, she is a proud mommy for her Novac’s achievements this far. Further, she stated that: “It is not. I’m very proud, happy. It was not easy, that’s true,” and I’m very proud of what he does, what he has achieved – 273 weeks at number one, all these trophies, so many special moments that I have been with him.”

And when asked about her “favorite of Novack’s she said its Wimbledon 2011 and the same moment he won the trophy – the one he wished to as a kid – he also became number one. The whole family was waiting for that.”

Dijana also spoke that her son’s fame has not affected her in any way and she enjoys if fans had wanted her to click a picture and have a word with them. She feels that it’s the greatest asset of a popular person and she is happy to be a part of it.
