The king of burgers has been in the long run giving customers flavors succulent to their taste buds. Taking it one step forward, McDonald’s is introducing a different “plant, lettuce and tomato (P.L.T),” sandwiches by “using Beyond Meat’s” patties in their 28 outlets in the coming week against their peers as P.L.T has been the hot selling food instead of meat.
Beyond’s Meat has been soaring high in Shares from the time it was incepted and has a value of 10% in May whereas McDonald’s was far behind.
The biggest burger clan has now joined the run with its competitors KFC, Dunkin to bring P.L.T to their list of foods.
Besides the plant based menu is already launched in Germany and Israel in association with “Nestle” and soon Nestle is bringing it in the U.S.
Prior to this, Nestle had already introduced this plant based foodie in April in the name of “Garden Gourmet” in many several European nations. Meanwhile, McDonald’s emerged with the patties “Big Vegan TS,” in its chain of 1500 outlets in Germany.
Further, “McDonald’s Vice President Ann Wahlgren stated: We’ve been working on our (Beyond Meat PLT) recipe and now we’re ready to hear feedback from our customers.”
The main idea is that this PLT has only natural ingredients which have no side effects especially for diet conscious customers. The burger comes at a price of “$6.49,” along with tax in 28 places particularly in southwestern Ontario, Canada from Monday.
