Massachusetts was taken by shock when a 17 year old teen in the year 2014 was the reason for her boyfriend’s suicide. The girl was convicted as she pursued him to kill himself through text messages.
Since then she has been behind bars convicted in February. Now that she seeks a parole after serving 7 months the officials are on talks on granting her wish. She is supposedly to be present on Thursday at the State Parole Board.
She was found guilty for instinctive murder of her then 18 year old boyfriend Conrad Roy III. Carter was arrested in 2017 and there was no other verdict after she was sentenced.
Roy attempted suicide by putting carbon monoxide in his truck at the parking space and when he was in a dilemma, carter insisted by texting him to “get back in” his vehicle.
After the verdict was pronounced, neither Carter nor her attorney or Conrad’s loved ones responded. But Carter’s lawyers fought saying that her messages were legally not wrong and she had the right freedom of speech.
Taking forward the case has been moved the Unites States Supreme Court.
Let the right justice to be served!
